Sorry this has taken me so long... I had to borrow a few things (camera included) to get this together... Above, you'll find a small video of the automatic yarn winder in action... and below, a shot of the kind of wound-ball it produces...
While I'm on the subject of yarn and diy... Did anyone catch the electric spinning wheel that was recently featured on Worlds are colliding.

1. is there a tutorial on how to make one of these, because I want one, it's so cool and plus i'm a knitter lol.

2. where did you buy the materials to make this.

3. did you make the actual ball winder or just the electric part?
