The Automatic Yarn Winder (in action)



Greetings!
Sorry this has taken me so long... I had to borrow a few things (camera included) to get this together... Above, you'll find a small video of the automatic yarn winder in action... and below, a shot of the kind of wound-ball it produces...
While I'm on the subject of yarn and diy... Did anyone catch the electric spinning wheel that was recently featured on hackaday.com? Worlds are colliding.

    Hi,I hope you don't mind if i ask you a few questions.

    1. is there a tutorial on how to make one of these, because I want one, it's so cool and plus i'm a knitter lol.

    2. where did you buy the materials to make this.

    3. did you make the actual ball winder or just the electric part?
